Week 16: be careful--you never know what you're going to run into

This week we were walking down the road at night after a lesson. We were walking and this alien walks past me. It was kind of weird. Then more and more aliens kept walking past, and then a big UFO showed up, going down the street. All the aliens started dancing and the UFO started blasting music. This might sound like a dream but this happened in real life. It turns out we walked into the middle of a giant parade. The aliens came first, then there were some mimes, some cowboys, some vegetables, and some fancy mariachi band members. They were each like 20 people with their own little music car. You have to be careful in Spain, because you never know when you'll run into a surprise parade.
We found 2 new investigators last Sunday, Fredrick, and Daniel. Fredrick is from Ghana, only speaks English and Tui, and is here in Lorca looking for work. Daniel is from Ecuador, his family is there and he's working in Lorca. They are both getting baptized next Saturday!! We have taught them every day this week.
I gave a talk yesterday in church. It was all in Spanish and I talked about Missionary Work. We did some service this week helping a member make bracelets.
This is my last week of training, then we will have transfers where I will get a new companion. Things are great here, and it's not as freezing anymore.
Congratulations to all my people at home. Joe and Alexis for getting married, and Craig for opening his mission call! And also everyone else for being alive I guess. Love you all--
